Organize moving day. Use labels to keep track of what is in each box. Place the labels on the end of the boxes so you can see what is in each box when it is stacked.

Pack up your family as if you are going on a vacation for a few days.

This will make your life a lot easier the first few days in the new home.

Lighten your Load

We will just assume that you have already taken the first step to ensure that your move will be the easiest, but finding the right boxes is only the beginning.

Here is a tip; do not pack things you do not use or that are not longer needed in your life. Have a moving sale about a month before you move, then you can use that money to help pay for your move. And for everything you don’t sell, donate those items to charity and get tax write offs.
